Xiao Hei's gone ... T_T
It's too fast ... I only had him one night!
I didn't mind waking up at 3am to play with him. I didn't mind bathing him cause he never struggled. I didn't mind when he scratched me all over when I used the hair dryer to dry his hair. I didn't mind slowly combing him till he was all dry and fluffy again cause he was such a good little boy.
But now he's gone!
No he didn't run away. A buyer came over to look at him today. A very nice family. They already have an 8-month old shih tzu. The wife was definitely a china woman with the daughter looking so cute with her two big pigtails. The husband was a well rounded educated individual fluent in both chinese and english. They saw Xiao Hei and fell in love with his slumbering cuteness straightaway.
Initially they were a little skeptical about Xiao Hei's laziness and wondered if something was wrong. I told them he just had a bath and played with my Zhu Zhu until tired. So I had to bring out the best treat, a little piece of liver meat. (Hey it really smells nice and hubby told me it tastes like BBQ pork with a little salt.) That little rascal Xiao Hei immediately got up with his eyes big big and wagging his tail. I put him on the floor and he looked up at my hand, jumped at the little morsel between my fingers. The family was intriqued and loved his little simple and gentle nature. They paid cash on the spot and brought him home today.
I'd be lying if I said I'll not miss him. Already I can feel a little bit of tears welling up in my eyes remembering how I carried him in my arms like a darling little baby ball of fur, when I combed his hair gently, the way he looked into my face with such innocence, the way he played with both me and Zhu Zhu, how silly he was when he drank a little of the bath water. Sigh. I was still hoping he'll stay till my hubby came back to see him. Sigh. I took a few more pictures before he left. Enjoy.
