my budget is shitty

Lookie at my cutie new earrings that I bought last night.

Yeah I couldn't resist it when I passed by my favourite earring shop in Bugis Village yesterday. She just had new stock up too!! Wowzers! I really held back in my earrings purchases and bought these 3 only. 3 for $5.

The pink ones reminded me of some sort of pink candy. My hubby found them too big but they look sooo retro chic cute that I ignored his critique.

The blue ones are my fave, although I've no idea when I can wear them. Haha yes I bought them just because I like them! They reminded me of smurfs!!! Smurfurific!! Blue ... mushrooms ... CUTE!!!

And the gold loops ... the perfect accessory for my bling bling look. I got the black skirt, the black tee with the gold words, the black heels. Now all I need is the right bling bling necklace and the smouldering makeup! Kekeke.

And how can I forget my so .... EXPENSIVE new tablet. It's bigger than the old one, and I love the pen stand that came along with it. A cool $260 ... all out of my own pocket. Yes my biggest SELF buy yet. Everything else is either mom or dad or hubby paying. But this ... this is my FIRST ever luxury buy. What next? Spas? Handphones? Holidays? Oooh ... the thought of it is making me dream drool so much.

At work today I got a little bored and decided to open up a new spreadsheet and charting out my budget, expenditure and saving for every month. I just realized I'm averaging about $90-100 a month on my handphone bill alone!! My god!!!

Here's a list.

• handphone = $90-100
• fitness membership = $150
  (not yet but I'm estimating it to be around there)
• shopping = $100
• magazines = $20
• makeup & facial care = $50
• food = $70
• insurance = $100
• clubbing = $60
• car = $120
• dog food and baths = $180

  Only about $1200 goes into my bank account after CPF leh!!! How to survive like that. I still haven't count in a lot of stupid miscelleneous stuff. I won't be surprised that after all my misc stuff I have NEGATIVE SAVINGS ah.
  
  And this is when I don't have credit card!!! My hubby wants to help me apply for UOB Ladies Card ... me scared scared!!!!
  
  Me starting today counting all the things I purchase. I just bought a $16 skirt some more ... sob sob ... now feel guilty.
  
  Back to the handphone I've to wait til 22nd January 2007 before I can transfer the stupid handphone account to my name. If cannot hor, I will complain and complain the stupid M1 down till they say CAN. What's so hard about changing a stupid name??? The bill will still be paid and then I can choose to do whatever I like with my plans without having to consult that annoying like housefly mother every time I wanna do anytime with my handphone.

I just borrowed this fantastic book ... well I hope it's fantastic. After only seeing the trailer of this book-turned-movie, I went online and reserved the book from the library. $1.50 ... yes I'm a cheapskate.

But this is like the only way I can guarantee getting the book I wanna read.

I love going into bookstores and finding books that I catches my eye (fanciful covers or titles usually do the trick, yes I'm shallow too), I'll then read through the summary and copy down the title and author's name if I like it.

Just look at that shoe! God I'd love a pair like that just so that I could stab all those people who step on my poor little toes and ruining my darling lacy nail art stickers. *pouts*


Meryl Streep ... classic the way that she can still look good with all WHITE hair. I wonder how old she is now?


Anne Hathaway ... I lurve her! She has that look that can turn from innocent to sultry in a blink. Big bambi eyes and loving her skin and hair. Hrmm ... maybe I'll bring this picture when I go do my next hair cut. What would you all think if I went ... brown?
