Spend Spend Spend ...how to save?

This month is really spend spend spend. I've been recording everything that I bought this month. Not including meals!!! I already passed the $700 mark today!!!! Cries!! My pay better come soon.

California Fitness

I was given a little tour of their Jackie Chan branch in Bugis this evening. First impression. A lot of people. A lot of beefy guys. A lot of gym equipment. Wah liew ... impactful but stressful feeling environment for me.

I'm a very self conscious person. As if working out around healthy slim women wasn't bad enough. Throw in men who make up 50% of the exercising population there who are most likely comparing my fat ass to that of the bodacious babe beside me on the threadmill.

Can you say DEMORALISING?!?!?!?

Not to mention my embarrassment when I had to let this cute guy who measure my weight and height. Wah liew!!! Paiseh leh!

But now I got a week free trial plus an hour's personal training session this weekend. What to wear?! I cannot imagine me squeezing back into those tight shorts and top that I used to wear to my gym lessons last time. What to wear!!!! *faints*

Amore Fitness

This is more like it. Only $60 for a month membership making use of some "new member" promotion they had going on. After that it is only about on average $115+ per month for the "power package" for 6 months, unlimited classes that I can attend. I don't mind. Since classes were what I preferred compared to gym.

I feel more motivated when I see others trying hard. But I hate machines aka gym equipment and being troopered shout at by a personal instructor. I'd hate to bring myself to hate a cute gym instructor. I'd rather just admire them.

But then again they'll be a bad distraction to my exercise. It's better that I stick to all girls amore. At least the Bugis branch has showers and sauna. Woot!

I actually pondered on these two purchases. Why did I buy them?

As I paid for them at the cashier, I kept thinking this would match whatever white/black outfit I wore. But that's the same thing I said for all the OTHER bracelets that I bought, about 6 of them. None of which have graced my wrist more than once.

I only wear one little bracelet from Perlini, which I almost never take off. Hrmm ... then why did I still buy those two bracelets?

I know ... I've a lot. But then I still don't have all the colours I want leh!!! Me gonna learn how to do nail art. Just got a bunch of nail art pictures to inspire myself. Now I need a lot of moolah again, to buy nailart tools and glitter and things to stick on my nails kakakaka.

Statement of the day :
FUBAR = Fucked Up Beyond Any Recognition
