Eventful weekend
You can say it was a blast! We were greeted upon opening the door by a spacious walkway past the toilet and into the bedroom. The toilet's design is fantastic!!! I simply am missing the bath tub right now!!!
BENG BENG!!! I found the little mini juice packet!! Adorable!!! These are sweets folks.
Sitex is a nightmare. But seriously I found it a waste of my time ... unless you wanna count in the moment that I had upon feeling a beautiful sleek black iPod Nano between my trambling fingers. OH GOSH ... I felt an ACTUAL ORGASM from just holding it!!! Hahahaha!
But sadly Sitex didn't boast anything new. Everything is all seen-that-got-that, and the price wise is not really that much cheaper. Might as well go Sim Lim. (Which we did and bought a new desktop PC for Seng Wee's sisters.)
Oh and got news about the future of my block. It's announced that it's now under the SERS scheme (Selective En Bloc Redevelopment Scheme). This is where they wanna do "something" to our present block and thus move us out to newer blocks nearby. Got two sites to choose from. One near Kallang MRT and the other near Boon Keng MRT. But quite disappointed to hear that most of the units are already taken up in the site near Kallang MRT which we want! We're even willing to take up a 5 room flat (to accomadate future plans ... hehe! ;))
Will be going down to Sims Drive to have a look at the plans for the sites, and to ask questions too. Hubs and I got loads of questions.
- when to move in?
- can we choose for our 4 families to stay on the same level?
- prices!!!!???
- can we choose??
- what's the balloting system mentioned in the scheme?
- what if we don't get the units that we want?
- etc .... etc ... etc ...
Some other little things that happened :
- air con spoiled at dblO last night
- dogs chewed up my favourite pair of flats
- bought new pair of flats (but not ideal look)
- Bibi peed on the bed ... again
- going for a little interview later
- am very dehydrated now
- things going well on "blink" side (more info when it's finalised)
- kenna warning letter about late return of library books
- two library books chewed up by my dogs ... dies
