Here comes the bride ...

This is her SWEET SWEET white dress that she's going to be wearing on the day of my wedding photshoot. Nice hor!!!

It costs only $7 from pasar malam! Got hubby's aunt to alter for her. It's soooo nice!!! I think I'll treat his auntie to something nice soon.

Ooh ... and I went to cover a bit of the two thick front blonde highlights today. Now they are like two thin streaks. Not so prominent but can still tell they're there on first look.

BTW that spaghetti top shown above ... is baby pink. My 3rd piece of clothing with pink. Hehehe.

I'm SOOO getting this pot! It's a mini deep fryer but it can also double up as a chocolate or cheese fondue pot!! Stylux Cooking Fryer ($59). It's a steal!!!!

HIGHLIGHTS!!!

ER ... warning for the faint hearted ... the following images may be too ... shocking ... especially for my friends who like know me forever and NEVER seen me before with coloured hair EVER!

You were warned.

Confirm tomorrow I'll be going back to the hair salon to cover up at leat half of the lighter colour highlights ... even I find it too much. But damn ... this hair is PERFECT to go clubbing if I wanna turn heads! Hahahah.

Hubby is not gonna like the hair when he sees it later ... already told him about it ... hope that will ease a little of the shock or spasms of fright which he will surely get later.

But then again ... don't mess with me now ... I got AH LIAN hair!! Hahaha.

Zhu's early birthday celebration

Went to my cousin Cynthia's condo for a family BBQ. But the focus was not really on the food but on the many many (NINE) dogs there.

1. Zhu Zhu the boy ST
2. Bibi the girl ST
3. Mocha the girl cocker spaniel
4. Casper the mommy golden retriever
5. Wee Wee the girl brown pomeranian
6. Yuki the girl white pomeranian
7. Junior Casper the 1st baby girl GR
8. Nacho the 2nd baby boy GR
9. Pipi the 3rd baby girl GR

There were kids there as well. My 2+ yr old nephew Ruven, with his 3+ yr old brother Ryann. There was also sweet little Jo, 20 months old, who's a darling with animals.
We kinda celebrated Zhu Zhu's 1 year old birthday there. I know lah ... early. His actual birthday is on the 4th of October ... but since all the dogs were there, might as well loh.

Food was great too. The doggies loved the cake. Next time I must get a cake with MEAT in it. Tried a little of the cake, taste almost like human cake leh! Hee hee.

Sigh ... for the next week I cannot go to the gym. Hubby forbid. I am sick ... got flu, running nose, sore throat, cough. I cannot stand it. It ALWAYS comes in a package.

knicks & knacks

Had lunch of ramen with Peiling. Really almost didn't recognise her in her "work clothes". Hehehe really cannot judge a book by its cover. She looks like those super hardworking type that can sacrifice sleep and food for her job. But when we party ... in her words hor ... she looks "lian" (bad girl image). To me ... she looks like a crazy party fun gal. Heheh ... always good to have around.

I wanna find a casual work clothes type of job! Then no need to buy those damn expensive pants, shoes, and jackets!!! Imagine wearing tee shirt and jeans that truly shouts your personality instead of the constricting skirts/pants, blouse and HOT HOT JACKET in SINGAPORE WEATHER and still having to look good in front of others. Sian loh!

If I kenna those constrictive type of clothes to work in ... confirm I have to have a mirror to check myself for any hair out of place or worse food stain 24 hours a day. Hubby says I'm like a blubbering baby!!! ALWAYS staining my clothes when I eat. True though ... especially when I'm eating noodles. Even DRY wanton mee I can get stains ... T_T

*****************************************************************

Went to central library just now ... found the COMIC section. Yes to those boys who like Marvel and Justice League, and the others who like comics like Calvin & Hobbes or Dilbert ... look for section 741.0 in the library ... one whole side of I think 5-6 cupboards with these funnies and good reads. I picked up THREE comic books there.

By Patrick McDonnell
Mutts II - "Cats and Dogs"
Mutts five - "Our Mutts"
Mutts no.8 - "I Want To Be The Kitty"

Without even looking at a single page of the comics yet ... from the simplicity of the way the comic is drawn I'm already in love. Can't wait to start my search for the rest of the books in the library.

Oh and another book, don't laugh hor ... I got this cuz the others didn't fulfil my wants of a book that teaches my dog little endearing tricks like "fetch" and "find".

"Dog Tricks for Dummies"
I can hear someone sniggering. *throws a dung bomb at the arse* Haha. But hear me out! These are some of the little tricks they are introducing in this book.

Embarrassed / Yuk! - where the dog can hide his face behind his paw or scratching his nose in disgust.
Barking on Command - this will be damn good to train them better at keeping quiet when I want to.
Bring It Back - er ... fetch ... duh
Trash It - this would be darn interesting and then no need to bring rubbish to the kitchen to throw liao. I'll have my dog do it for me! Whee! hahah.
Finding Lost Treasure - this would bring sooo much amusement sia!
Take A Bow - this too!!

*****************************************************************

This is part 1.
This is part 2.
Found this totally amusing link from atomfilms. Quite a ... funny way to represent how both sides deal in a relationship. Part 2 is the sequel to 1 ... which what the girl does is sooooo expected!

*****************************************************************

Dammit it's 12 plus now ... and the CATS ARE HOWLING SO ... GOSH!! They should get a sound proofed room!!! That noise is embarrassing!! ((to those who are innocent, they are not just meowing to make noise ... they are ... so called cat pleasure noises when they are ... like ... er ... f-ing!))

A Saturday in Sentosa

I can say that I've not gone to the beach for ages. Forgotten how merciless the sun can be without sunblock. Cries. Felt its rays punishing me for my mistake.

But soon thoughts of pains were banished from my mind when I saw cute little Bibi and Zhu Zhu enjoying themselves in the cool water.

Aiyah ... forgot to take a pic of myself wearing my new bikini top. Darn. Hahah ... next time. Pukage will be available for your viewing pleasure the next time I wear it.

My dear mom whom I accompanied to the golf range before our gym toning lesson on Friday night. She was there for a free swing analysis.

Hahah the trainer told her to forget everything that she has been previously been doing. Apparently she doesn't have a firm enough stance with her swing. No wonder when I looked at her play I just felt something not right. Not the same as how most pro golfers swing.

Ooh and I saw a really cute looking ang moh there. Make that TWO. They both had such BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES that makes me wanna just sink into their depths.

They're couching the National (I think Junior) team for Singapore loh!!! And yes ... the boys and girls ... were just boys and girls. Mostly in secondary school or younger. Gosh!!!

BEFORE ANY OF YOU PUKE!!!

This is not a picture to ... "show off" myself okay! I've been trying to practise how to pose, smile and stuff ... so that I'll do better and not smile like a raving lunatic or look like someone killed my pet. (choy choy touch on wood)

So er ... a thousand apologies to all who have to ... be blinded by such beauty cuteness refinement ... wah liew I cannot think of a word leh ... ok ok ... by such puking finery! Hahah.

drinking + driving = arrestment

My father went drinking again. As usual as what he does every single night.

He said he drank two beers. He also said that he drank two whiskies. He's not sure.

He got arrested by the police.

Mother went to the scene to drive his car home. Halfway home car overheated. She found that Father DID get into an accident. But what did he hit? Another vehicle? A person?? An object??? He doesn't remember.

I don't know how's the situation now. He should be sitting in a jail cell right now waiting for his "verdict" on his "crime".

This is not the first time he got his ass in jail.

I do know that he's at least getting a big fat fine and suspension of his license if he is lucky.

I'm worried that it'll be more than that. I'm worried that it'll be the evoke of his license or worse ... a jail term.

I told him before not to drink and drive ... but he still did it ... every night.

It was sooner or later that he got caught. *sniffles*

Dad ... your little girl is so disappointed in you.

((FYI : I'm a clubber and whenever I drive, I always make sure that I NEVER drink too much. Just a little. Just ask any of my clubbing friends. They know me.))

sorry - thx - madness

First and foremost I wanna say VERY VERY VERY sorry to another_turbochicken. I didn't mean to draw this yesterday. I know I was supposed to do the room with the little objects by this week. But ... but ... this image was in my head ... it was bursting to get out. Plus Mooncake Festival is around the corner.

Sorry lah. *bows down*

But then ... here's the pic! Woot!

Not really well done in terms of colours ... I tried making her wear a red, blue ... heck even a GREEN cheongsam ... but it was just turning out too cheesy. Back to basics ... BLACK.
I am thinking of recolouring this pic next time round. AFTER I do my chickie friend's stuff. Heheh. Anyone has any suggestions on what colours to do for the girl and the table??? And also that darn mooncake box. Doggie colours are gonna stay the same.
Yeah there's another dog in my piccie now. That's Bi Bi ... the darker chocolate little dear there with the crumbs all over her muzzle. Zhu Zhu has a new look now, shorter, cooler and er ... to me cuter. Some of my friends remarked that he looks somewhat like a cocker spaniel now ... except he doesn't have the long muzzle lah.
**********************************************************************
Yesterday afternoon met up with Lai and Big Lai (his older bro) for lunch at Jack's Place (Bras Basah). Sweet Lai paid for the meal ... and I deserved it okay! It's ABOUT TIME that he treated me out for a nice meal. Hehe. We talked a lot about America, recent happenings in Singapore etc etc.
He's going back to the WEST coast of the U. S of A. next Thursday. But then I remembered ... didn't he already graduate?!?! The arse is going back to do ... HIS MASTERS!!! WAH LIEW!!! Another 3 years studying abroad. And he cannot attend my wedding either. *sniffles*
Hrmm I wonder if Big Lai would be around ... should be. In the Pasir Ris "gang" should have Alvin, his gf, Benedict, Big Lai and Big Ben.
Oh crap ... Benedict's out too ... he's training to be a pilot ... lucky bastard. Won't be in Singapore from Dec'05 to Aug'06. Sheesh!
Oh ... Lai ah ... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR FIXING UP MY WIRELESS INTERNET FOR MY LAPTOP!!! It has been not working for ... more than 6 months now! YAY!!!
Now I can surf the net in bed. Hehehe.
Ooh ... while sauntering about in the new central library ... we found a very interesting book. "Getting Over Your Ex the F.A.S.T Way". Well ... F.A.S.T. stands for ...

F - Face it
A - Accept it
S - See the lessons
T - Take it to a new level
**********************************************************************
Last night at Mambo was CRAZY MAD CROWDED!! PACKED!!! Me and my friends went at early 10plus to make sure we get the chop first to get in. Luckily we did, later the queues were quite long.
After that it was a lot of squeezing and shoving just to move around in Zouk. I didn't even dare to go to the toilet cause I didn't want to go through the mad mob of people crowding around the areas. I tried to get through just ONE staircase! I gave up and went back to the S-plat.
People got on our nerves last night. In more than we deserve ways. First it was that very dark guy with the curly mop head. He just SQUEEZED his way up the centre plat and pushed a girl down to get there.
Later already there was one of the centre plat regulars telling him what he did was not right. But he gave a heck care attitude and started dancing like an idiot making a fool of himself there.
Soon his friend wanted to join him up there too. PUSHED AGAIN!! This time about THREE of the regular guys fell off the plat. One of them was not too happy, pushed him back REALLY HARD and had a bouncer coming to check out the situation. Could tell there was a spark of wanting to fight in the air but luckily it didn't come to that. The misbehavers left, the regulars got their centre plat back safe and sound.
A lot later, S-plat had a little troublemaker too. Personal agenda with THIS one. I just got back from the loo. It was already 3plus and the S-plat was less crowded. This I guess attracted a VERY DRUNK white guy in a black tee to come up the plat and "show off his stuff" ... very f-ed up dancing skills. He looked like ... well ... just literally like a white guy who cannot dance. Cannot catch beat, cannot catch rhythm.
He thought I might be a nice person to dance with I think when I returned to the S-plat. SCARY FOR ME AH!!! He made a grab for my waist which I instantly retaliated to by "skipping" away and standing IN BETWEEN TWO GUYS whom I do not know at all. They were surprised at first, but I said, "I stand here cause I don't wanna stand beside that white guy."
White guy alone again. Guess his friends dumped him. He soon found an interest to David's head. The ARSE went and gave David's head a hard KNOCK and when David turned around to say something bad back, he too gave a heck care attitude. LIKE AS IF HE CAN GET AWAY WITH IT!!!
David and I left the platform to go dance under the big tv. Dunno what happened to the guy in the end. About 5 mins later he was gone. But no point going back. We were comfortable dancing where we were.
Our friend, Ray, ... was not so ... sober. He suddenly popped out of nowhere and told me that he wants to see my dogs! Hahah he got one but he says his dog is boring. Wants to see my TWO dogs more fun. Hahaha. Guess he was really drunk from the way he was slurring his words and not standing steady. Guess that's what you get for drinking 3/4 of a bottle of red wine yourself. Kekekek.
Sigh ... 4 Wednesdays no Mambo. Zouk will be closed for a FACELIFT from Sunday 18th September to Thursday 20th October.

Today is Saturday

Today was quite fun ... except the damn jams on the Causeway. T_T

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Before going out ... breakfast for the pups ... PAPA'S EARS!!! Kekeke. >.<
First thing in the morning we brought the two kids to East Coast Park. Initially wanted to bring them to walk walk there but ... sigh ... Bibi REFUSED to walk on a leash. Reminds me of some other dog leh ... (hint : Zhu).
Ate wan ton mee with my parents and Elis (my brother's gf), while waiting for my brother to do his ... HAHAH ... CWO (corrective work order). Two hours he and a few other people spent ... PICKING UP LEAVES at East Coast Park. At least this time he was lucky no need to wear that bright neon yellow vest cuz the person in charge forgot to bring. Hahah.

Zhu now in his puppy cut!!!

He is looking ... so darn cute now!!! Like a big puppy!!! Fell in love with him all over again. Just look at those big sparkling eyes!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Bibi as usual is a load of trouble. Haiz.
Yesterday after my lonely gym session (mom couldn't accompany on Wednesdays cuz she got golf), I took a long steaming hot shower and put on my jeans and tee.

I've never felt so happy. MY JEANS WERE SIGNIFICANTLY LOOSER!!! Wheee! But I still got my big ass. Cuz when I went skirt shopping I cannot wear those denim mini skirts!!! *cries* But non-denim ... I can. *winks*

But I still bought THREE skirts ... I couldn't resist.
- a black flirty skirt which I wore last night at Mambo hehe. ($17)
- a plain brown (non-denim) mini-skirt very suitable to wear to the beach ($18)
- and my fave ... a green army print mini frilled skirt ... love the fit love the colour and it's ARMY PRINT LOH!!! HOW TO RESIST!? ($29)

Zouk again last night! Second last Mambo before it closes for renovation. Dunno should I go Mambo next week leh ... very tiring. I think I'll sleep early next Wednesday.

Too bad we couldn't join our bunch of friends at Phuture. Not Phuture fans. But we DID go there for like 10 minutes before 3am and lucky us ... they played hella lotta good R&B when we were there. Hee hee.

Went back Mambo ... music continued playing til PAST 3am ... then we were like ... "Hmmm ... guess tonight's closing at 4am." But we weren't sticking around for more.

My dear friend Yan, came at a late hour of 1+am ... gosh. No more alcohol for her though. But that's just it. I've NO IDEA what triggered off her ... super happy like DRUNKARD mood when I sent her home last night.

From the point when we stepped out of Zouk, to picking up my mom's car from the Valet parking, to inside the car, to Shell station to buy drinks, and ALL THE WAY back to her place ... she was singing anything and everything that was coming to her head.

Me and Xin were like ... O_O;;;

Got home looking forward for a good snuggle with my hubby ... ended up cleaning up the shit that my two kids left at the door for me. Spoil mood sia!

Hubby says that he's gonna change Zhu's top knot into lapso apso style. Bwahahaha.

Drink, Dance and be Merry

Went to Liquid Room last night. Friends PG and Drew are working there. Felt weird them being behind the barcounter serving up mean alcohol instead of being the ones drinking with us.
Music :
Let's just say I'm not keen on going to Liquid Room again. Techno trance is really not my thing. Most of the time I can only hear the bom-ba-bom-ba-bom beat. I guess it kinda upped the effect of the alcohol on me too.

Drink count for last night :
- half a jug of orange vodka
- a glass of beer
- i think 3/4 of vodka ribena
- 1 and a half glass of whisky dry

Verdict :

F-ing tipsy!!! Couldn't even last through a meal of ba kut teh with the girls. Before the soup came I had to take my leave abruptly and get home! My eyes were already not focused!!!

Got a cab straight, called hubby to meet me downstairs of my block, and kinda passed out in the cab. Lucky the cabby is a really nice guy, woke me up before reaching my block.

"Miss, passing by Kallang MRT liao. This traffic light turn?"

I woke up and I tell you, MY EYES ALMOST CANNOT SEE ANYTHING!!! I could only make out the lights of the MRT station, and then manage to slur out, "Turn at the 2nd traffic light and then turn right into the carpark."

Reach liao, can see my hubby waiting there carrying our two kids (doggies lah) with him. Paid the cabby, stumbled off the cab.

"Why the kids with you?"

Hubby said, "They followed me down."

When I was thinking what darlings they were for coming to fetch me home, my head started to reel and my stomach churned.

MERLION HAS EMERGED! BLEAGH!!! Right into the nearest drain! I must have really looked a terrible sight. In a mini skirt and spaghetti top squatting beside the drain puking my guts out.

And HE had the audicity to laugh at my plight. Oh well, guess I deserved it. He'll get my revenge from me in the morning.
Oh and I got a VERY GOOD PIECE of news.
I'M A GRADUATE!!!
Kiss studies and exams goodbye!!!
Now can start to earn money with a proper full time job.
But weird thing is that even though I failed 2 subjects out of the 5, I am considered to have gotten my degree with a "Pass". No honours ya but like I CARE at this point!
So now officially I have a degree in BSc Information Systems and Management.
Anyone want to employ me? Hahahah!
I really hope that this news that I'm a grad is not a computer error or something. I'll be damn f-ing pissed off if it is a fluke.
My plans for the future now :
- Drawings!! Lots of it! Considering doing a comic strip again. Hrmm.
- Website project with my friend Mr "Chickie"
- Printing of Doggie Tees, sourcing too
- Designing for Doggie postcards and car decals etc.
- Search for full time job (but now dunno should wait til after wedding cuz need to have flexible timing)
- Search for part time job (to tide over till the wedding)
- Gym Gym Gym! Now changing to 3 times a week. Woot!
- Wedding arrangements! I guess I should start doing details liao. Invites, booking for grooming for Zhu and Bibi before photoshoot, hiring videographer, etc.
This is what I can think of at the moment. Bleh.
Lucky I didn't wake up with a hangover tis morning. Hubby envies me. I put Bibi beside his ear which she proceeded to chew on while my excited little Zhu Zhu pounced on his belly waking him up instantly HAHAHA.

Doodle Time

I did all these in around the time span of about 3 hours last night. Nothing much. Just a little doodling fun I was playing with while watching "Jue Dui Superstar", the swearing in of President Nathan for the 2nd term, and also "Child of Our Time" which is a superb documentary about how a baby is influenced by his/her surrounding to determine his/her future.

FYI : Child of Our Time is on Central every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday at 10pm.

On with the doodles!

3 brand new braclets, 5.90, 6.90, and 9.90 respectively. All bought from Bugis. Heheh.

What?! Stop staring at me like that. I NEEDED new bracelets. The one I'm wearing now has been with me for YEARS.

Need I say more?
Been wanting AGES to buy this dress but Zhu cannot. Now that I have a girl, I can buy all the pretty dresses that I've been eyeing! Hee hee hee.
