My desk presently. Every morning I'll go to the pantry to make a hot cup of milo with that angel cup. The doggie I just bought today. To accompany me. Morever I feel it looks a like my Zhuzhu.

Hubby made Bibi wear those glasses. She no like. Those are kids' glasses.

But for me .. I'm loving these big shades. Hides my panda black eyes well. Haha.

My buy for today. Saw it yesterday at Wisma but dun have my size. Seiyu at Bugis Junction have! Yay! Hehehe. Of course this is not for work lah!

I'm loving my granny's nonya dumplings. So shiok to eat. But today she left only one for me. Tomorrow she'll wrap some more. I'm asking her to reserve TEN for me hahaha.

okay back to my laundry hanging. Soooo much. I think I should make it a point to wash laundry EVERY weekend.

It was like a hypnotismn effect. BIG RED SIGNS witih the words "SALE!!!" big big for me to see ... I dunno why but I HAD to go into almost every shop!!

Oh that box is really interesting. The two little clear round containers is where you put your contact lens, then the little button the the side you press and the containers VIBRATES!!! Woot! Mini lens cleaner!!! I liked it so much. Anyone wants? My hubby's specs shop selling. Come down anytime.

I didn't post the $70 worth of undies and bras that I bought. But still quite worth it.
- 2 bras for the price of $37.90
- 2 panties (buy 1 get 1 free $24.90
- 1 more panty for $8.90
Reasonable lah ... considering they were Triumph bras and they usually cost around $50++ - $100++ EACH.

I ALMOST succumbed to shoe buying too ... but my feet by that time was tired.

Today I'm going shopping at Orchard road with a friend. Places I'm aiming :

So much to walk loh. Aiming to buy MORE MORE tops, MORE skirts, MORE paints and maybe 1 or 2 pairs of shoes.

My hubby will faint if I came back with a car load of shopping bags ... so I will TRY to curb my shopping urges. But then again ... that will be even more challenging than waking up every morning at 7am.

p.s I found out that Saturday mornings (half days) are casual days ... CAN WEAR JEANS yeah!!!

Update on job :

5th day today.
- blistered toes still haven't recover
- now got blistered soles
- running out of ideas for clothes combi-s
- am tempted to go to work tomorrow in jeans (half day mah)
- oh me no have casual dress day at work >.<;;;
- might be sent on a course soon to learn Primavera. Ooh!
- wishing that i have a 5 day job instead of the 5.5 ... sigh.
- will soon be sprucing up my corner ... keke.

3rd day on the job

It's not even a week yet I'm already pegged with two assignments.

Actually my boss said it's more like a practice thing for me, but still cannot make mistakes cuz it's for real. HAhaha.

Oh well ... today 3rd day on the job. Had to stay back to finish up a draft of a PERT chart for my boss. I didn't mind. I enjoyed creating all those little circles and links. Good to kill time. Until I noticed it was 7pm! WAH!!!

Transferred the stuff I needed to bring home into my little thumbdrive. And then shut down compy. My "boss" left same time as me (the cutie one lah). Had a very nice conversation.

Glad to know from him that he was impressed with my CV ... but it was mostly written by my friend. Oh well ... ignorance is bliss .. and it shall remain as so.

Day 3 ... I'm running out of suitable working attire!!! This weekend I'm gonna have to buy a few more new tops, one or two different coloured cardigans (one black and one something else) and panties ... cuz most of my panties now have that darn VPL (visible panty line) that is so ugly when it can be seen thru my pants. T____T

And shoes! A girl can never have too many shoes. Hee hee.

My First Day at my First Job

First day on the job ... it was generally okay. But can say I kinda got a culture shock.

Hee hee.

First thing I got my designated stationary, then my little desk and computer. Darn it loh. Computer better than my laptop. Pentium 3+.

I got a lot of things to read being new to this line. (sorry me not gonna mention what line I'm in.)

Today was mainly like a teacher-student session. My boss had to teach me the basic of what I'll be doing. This will not be the last time. Very helpful.

But what I don't believe is that my boss ... IS YOUNGER THAN ME!!!! Born same year but later. OMG Loh!!! *faints* I really admire that he's able to achieve a degree and a lot of work experience in this short span of time. At this time guys my age with a degree are mostly either still in their school years or only their 1st year in the job.

Sigh. okay ... day 1 of probation starts. Hope I survive these 6 months.

Heheh I spent a good half hour sticking and cutting the little stickers to make this. That pinky flower was part of a pack of little pinky flowery jewel designs. While all the white little gems is 1/3 of the pack of 3 strips.

Each pack is only $2.50. All I used were a pair of tiny pincers (from my nail art stickers home kit) and a pen knife.

I'm thinking of filling up the whole back. Kekek ... to give it the FULL bling appeal.

But my hubby hates it leh. Say it's very low class. >.< Really meh?

gosh ... before I get a pay I'm already spending so much. My closet is like NOT A WORKING CLASS person's wardrobe.

I'm thinking of investing in a pda phone and photostating the book Microsoft Project. Hee hee.

So nervous ... I still dunno what to wear.

No more late mornings for me. I've to wake up at 7am tomorrow. Work starts at 8.30am. Woot!

Went for my second interview today.

... project planner ...

Quite smooth. Was able to explain CPM and Gantt charts a bit.

He then told me :

"I'll write up your appointment letter and pass it to you soon. When can you start?"

No I'm not letting them mate yet. It's still too early.

I think I'd wait for Bibi to have her menses two more times before planning for her to get pregnant.

Either that or I've to wait til we move out of here first to our new place. Stupid en-bloc scheme. Not only it's delaying puppy plans, it's also delaying me and hubby's plans of Plan-B(aby). Hee hee.

I already thought of a name to call the first boy pup when they do give birth.

Ber Ber. My friends thought of it. Zhu Bi Ber <-- some sort of porridge.

Guh ... I want puppies!!! No no ... I must wait til I get a steady job first.

This Friday is my interview. They want me to go back again.

First of all he told me that I'm a little over qualified for the project admin role. *cries*

Then he drops the bomb on me by saying that he still wants me to go back for ANOTHER interview ... for project planner.

MY GOD LOH!!!!!

His comments :
- I look like an intelligent looking girl (guess my studious outfit worked TOO well)
- I know a bit of planning eg. critical path theory, gannt chart (OMG my bullshit power skills are good!!!)
- I write very well (the very first letter was written by a friend of mine ... *faints*)

Confidence - zilch
Experience - zilch
Keeness - dunno yet

But I'm gonna be giving it a shot. Who knows? I might end up liking it. And confirm is higher pay than project admin.

But I'm thinking that even though I am unsuccessful in the next interview, would they still give me the role of project admin???? I hope so. *prays hard*

Mother's Day

Quiet day today. Especially at the shop. Guess all the young crowd who usually fill up the corridors of Bugis Village are all out celebrating with their mothers.

Good to know that Singapore youth still quite care for their mothers.

I wonder where Mom is now.

Yes we still simmering a bit from the fight from a few days ago.

She almost didn't want to tell me she'll be going overseas from Friday for 3 days with Dad.

I just sent her a simple "Happy Mother's Day" sms ...

My brother complains to me that since I moved out, 100% of the nagging is focused on him and it's driving him nuts ... lucky he has to go for national service.

Double O Fun!

Last night was a BLAST!!!

And I have the headache and queasy stomach to attest to the crazy night!

Crowded at Double O ... woot! Don't ask me how was the crowd ... all I knew that a lot of my good buddies were there!

Cheap drinks at $3 a glass and $11-$12 a jug = a lot of booze!

Yea I didn't regret not driving last night. I had quite a bit. Lychee martini, vodka ribena, vodka redbull, pineapple rum, green tea whisky ... I think that's what I had. Hee hee.

First of all ... a funny stupid moment happened before I even entered the club. I saw two of my friends in the queue. Excitedly I started walking over, not noticing the damn grill. My heel got stuck in between. I practically lifted the whole grill out with my foot still in my heel and it still caught between the grill.

A sweet guy helped me out of the little mess. I can tell you ... I was EMBARRASSED. But seeing my friends in the queue shooed away that stupid feeling. Phew ... >.<

Drinking, chatting (basically talking a lot of cock), having fun. That's what we did the whole night. I played "ji gu bah" (scissors, paper, stone) with one of my friend's friend. He lost to me quite a bit keke. But all we did was just sip pineapple rum, sweet and diluted by that time of the night, so it was ok.

But all that drinks meant ... a lot of toilet breaks. Mostly I was lucky and I got a cubicle almost as soon as I enter the ladies. But once, I was SUPER NEEDY of the toilet. Girls' queue in the ladies is friggin LONG!!!

I took a chance. Asked the next guy who came out of the gents ...

"Is there an empty cubicle in there that I can use?"

Guy goes casually (surprisingly casually), "Sure go ahead."

"Thanks." I zipped in, excused myself as I sat down relieving myself.

Yes I had to walk pass those guys peeing at those urinals.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I didn't PEEK!!! I SWEAR!!!

I came out, made a quick apology and thanked the guys for letting me use their loo.

I think I left quite a few guys .... blur in there.

My guy friend whom I told what I did, the first thing he asked, "Did you see anything?"

Why in hell do I wanna do that??? Already me entering their toilet is ... pressurizing enough right?

He told me that I should go over and do a joke like stare at it and laugh. GOSH!!! Why the hell would I DO THAT?!

Oh well ... I'll swear it again. I did not see any d***s!!! I don't wanna end up with a sore eye!

Haha ... ok the so called highlight of the night.

I was there til 4+. Ate bat kut teh til almost 5am. My neighbour told me that I got home at 515am. Haha.

Gosh it's been a long time since I had so much fun till so late.

Job Interview

Yesterday I went for an interview.

I can say all my worries are for naught.

The interviewer (who will be my boss if I get the job) is very nice. Didn't put any pressure on me and yet is willing to tell me what I need to know.

Stupid me forgot to ask him about salary though. T_T

Morever he seems to be young ... at most around mid 30s. So talking to him will be a lot easier as we might have more common grounds to talk about.

The job scope seems busy ... but I'd be mostly assisting my boss. 5.5 day work week. Yah I know. Still got companies with 5.5 days. But I'm okay. As long as the pay is good. Keke.

What I wore ... was so ... OFFICE GIRL! Not those who sit behind a desk type, but those who will be like the ones who will be ordered around to serve coffee, photocopy stuff etc.

And my SHOES. Gosh ... my heels were all red and my feet kept slipping out. They looked overly clunky too. I should have worn my heels.

Feeling like shit now ... actually more like a frog ... that is stuck in my throat.

I keep coughing, and once in a while gagging when my cough gets the better of me and I start heaving dry vomits.

The throat feels like it's expanded from the inside. Red and sore and soooo dry.

Everything I'm eating now is bland, and has to be watery or soup based or else my throat will hurt from the swallowing.

AND DIE LOH!! Tomorrow I got important interview!!!

I'm gonna to be leaving the impression that I fall sick easy and sound horrible! Cries!
