RAWR!!! I'm a tiger!!!

Remember the cute little picture I drew of Zhu from the earlier entry. Someone liked it so much that she requested one drawn of her little Bernie, the keeshon. She liked it so much that she showed other people of DoggieSite and they also requested for one too. Before long I ended up with a list of about 15 people waiting for their furkids cartoon pic to be drawn! Hahaha. Sigh. I'll try my best now. Here's some that I've done so far.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Top Row (L2R) : keeshon, japanese spitz, maltese
Middle Row (L2R) : miniature schnauzer, miniature schnauzer, calivier king charles spaniel
Bottom Row (L2R) : 2 shih tzus, 3 chihuahuas, maltese+west highland terrier+maltese

After drawing all those I suddenly have the urge to wanna go out and do a whole dog series of T-shirts, like The Dog Collection with those big heads and small bodies, except mine will be cartoon pictures of dogs. Heehee .... but so much to consider ... prices, printing, quality, colours, sizes of pictures, threshold of customers, online selling, budgets ... etc ... sigh.

Oh well I'll decide again after my exams ... 12 may - 8 june. Sheesh.

A Zhu Zhu Doodle Celebration

CELEBRATION!!! I finished my Information Systems Project!!!! All 50+ pages of it. Gosh I almost went over the 10,000 word limit. I got 9500+ words. Hee hee.

Now I just have to go do whatever I can to fill in some more pieces of pages for my Software Engineering Project. I KNOW I cannot complete that one, so I'll just throw in some coding, bullshit some sort of testing and the conclusion, and hand it in. It's only 40% of my subject anyway. Just study harder for the actual paper loh ... 60%.

Then next Monday, I'll bring my two projects to Bras Basah to bind. And no ... cannot bind with ring binder ... must be BOOK BINDING. WTF is that? Guess I'll find out when I get to the shop. My friend told me it's called cloth binding or staple binding. I'm like huh???

Oh well ...

And to commemorate this splendid occasion I've decided to draw a cute cute cute picture of Zhu Zhu ... hehehe. Kill me if you must but I find this damn cute! (I'm like praising myself but I don't care!)

The Cows have Invaded!!!

Yes they have sprung up overnight all over Singapore. They can be mostly found along the expressways and I've last heard they have also infiltrated Toa Payoh Park.

This is the work of ... ahem ... MOOVE MEDIA!

Yes the mystery of the cow printed taxis and buses with the huge tails have been solved. It's apparently the campaign of a company who were doing the ads of Moove is More.

*extracted from somewhere in the web*

Red Blue Yellow Cows Spotted in Singapore

If you travelling along ECP from Jurong towards City, you can see a herd of cows glazing on the near Marina Bay area. Could it the be grass they are feeding that makes some of them turn blue? These cows along with there cousin (taxi's with tails) turn out to be part of "Moove Media" awareness teaser program. It is meant to raise the profile of the ComfortDelGro (Taxi/Bus) advertising group. By the way, some of them can be seen scattered at one corner of the open field opposite SGH Mortuary... Holy Cows!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Actually there are pink ones too. Plus orange ones. Here's my own picture. I got my hubby to snap a shot of the cows along the PIE near the BKE exit while I was driving. Hee hee. Cute right they are?

(the words you cannot see)
Hundreds of pets
are abandoned
in Singapore each year.
Love your pet
as you would your child.
Do not abandon your pet!
A Pet is fer Life
My Zhu is my boy. I'll never abandon him for any reason. Even if he chews up all my clothes and soils my bed every night and bites off all the corners of my books, I'll still love him. Me and hubby try to bring him out with us as much as possible. In fact nowadays almost everywhere we go we try to find places where he can follow us. Or if he can't follow us to certain restaurants, we end up just packeting food from the nearby market just so we can accompany him at home.

Zhu : Mommy! When are we leaving?
Mommy : As soon as we get your hair tied properly dear.

Do you noticed anything special about this pooch?
Half white half black face. Very special. My friend said it looks like Zhong Wu Yan! Heheheh.

Our friend's dog Snowy, the white pekingnese. So white. I think he's the ONLY white pekingnese in Singapore.

My first dog.

I found an old photo of my 1st dog. Sigh ... Dondon. I miss you!
He's a pekingnese too.

Remember that guy ... ?
btw another interesting thing my hubby learnt from the gossipy uncles and aunties from the void deck downstairs. Remember that guy who made a failed attempt to suicide from the 7th storey a few weeks ago? Well ... he ... just died a few days ago ... from cancer. Yes. Heard that he wanted to kill himself to release his children from the burden from his medical bills. Well ... looks like things still worked out for him. But it's really sad ... oh well. He got his way.

SKC Dog Show @ Expo

Incredible time we had. Although not as many shops as before but still came back feeling satisfied and spent.

Took only these few few few pictures ... sigh. Wish I could have taken more.

Zhu Zhu and Feyon lying around.

I forgot their names but I remembered they belong to Puipui ma.

HAH! Let's see who stronger! Pui versus Zhu!

This boy had a carrot tail to match his orange leash.

This is the funkiest dog there man!!!!

Two corgi butts! Sorry but I just loved the way their butts looked.

This fella here is HUGE and had a huge drool dangling from his mouth like a jello icicle. Hahah.

This was for the PUPPY catergory. I got to say that this JRT is the MOST GUAI dog I've seen there!

The obstacle course. Haha ... some things interesting happened here. Common ones like dog going around the obstacle or going below instead of above the pole. The ultimate was when a husky who was looking a bit unconfortable from being commanded around, half way through stopped and TOOK A CRAP in the middle of the course. Oh gosh! Hahaha. Another instance was a GR decided to play with his owner instead of running through the course.

Heheh the gets for the day!
- 3 tops for only $10. (for the help of ALL)
- free carton of Cosi milk
- and two 4R printed shots of Zhu plus a CD containing all the shots that were taken. $14 + $5
- 2 pairs of tiny bows $5 per pair.Black pair will be delivered separately. The gold pair is worn during the photo taking.

Only 4 of the photos from the "shoot" here ... but I love them. Just wasted that ONE strand of hair in his face.

Was supposed to go to Batam on Friday. But the lady confirmed our booking for Friday-Saturday for us at only 2pm!!! It's too late! So we told her we don't want.

Ended up going to Takashimaya. Before that Jack's Place. Hubby was eating his meal with a very blessed look on his face. No beef and fish for a month in India mah. Hehehe. Then he went crazy buying a shih tzu pens holder and a similar shih tzu photo holder. Just because of the cute cute little top knot the toy had. HAhaha ... he said it reminded him of Zhu.

Then today supposed to go Johor. But hubby got lazy. HAhaha. Ended up spending the day at Plaza Singapura. Almost bought this expensive bedsheet set which felt like silk!!! Retailed at $140 total. But for the 3 hour sale it is 40% off at only $84. We pondered on it for like half an hour before deciding to not buy it. Reason : It MUST be dry-cleaned.

3 hour sale at some shops having special discounts. Too bad the only one I was interested in was the one I didn't get in the end.

Spent another hour in Carrefour spending about $30. Tiring day today but ... it was fun ... bought an adorable new handphone keychain, and a penguin shaped fan from Action City.

Now sian ... night time so hot. Later confirm have to switch on aircon liao.

Tomorrow I'll be at the Expo ... hehe ... Dog Show!!!!

He's back ... with photos!

Yay my dear darling hubby is back from India!! Missed him soooo much! Initially he was afraid that Zhu Zhu might not recognise him ... but lo and behold, Zhu was jumping all over him when he saw him. Hehehehehe. Yay!

Here's some of the photos he took there ... I couldn't take all ... er ... army reasons.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
First the animals ... there's something weird there.

Cows are considered sacred to them ... so throughout the training they're not allowed to hurt/kill any of the cows. So when there's a cow in the way ... they stop all firing. But if it's a person, the indian army continue to shoot. Gosh ... later I'll tell you something even MORE shocking about the way the poor indians there try to get money.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Bonfire and a dinner fit for formal events! Would you look at that dinner tent!!! It's like ... OMG .. it was set up in the middle of a desert for goodness sake! And it looks soooo grand. Why is their country spending this sort of money to accomodate to the SG army? Got silk like cloth for tentage and cover plush seats, silverware, catered food and even CHANDELIERS!!!

Maybe that's why recently PM Goh Chok Tong told us that we need to further strengthen our ties with India ... they must be thinking the same too.

THE TAJ MAHAL!!! Gosh it's grandness ... it's blinding.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Left pic : It's just the ENTRANCE to the Taj Mahal.
Right pic : Don't ask me why he is sitting there.

Interesting fact about the Taj Mahal. There are 200 buildings there ... 180 of them are tombs. That's why hubby cannot take pictures of the interior.

The buildings in these two pictures look the same right? But they are 2 very different things. Left one is a tomb, right one is a mosque. How to tell the difference? Outside cannot see, inside then can see. But cannot take photo inside.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Right pic : Some memorial for the war.

Okay beautiful pictures of India over ... now here's the sad ones.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Left pic : See that brown hut, and the round brown stuff. You believe that all of those are shit? Yes cow dung to be precise. The women there pick up the shit, flatten it and let it out in the sun to dry so then they can later use it as fuel. Too much so they make a little hut like pile out of it.
Right pic : Need I say anything about how poor these people are?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
These are the children of India. It really makes me think that Singapore kids are DAMN DAMN DAMN spoilt. T_T Hubby say cannot give them money ... he actually saw what happened when someone did. Some of the bigger kids punched the smaller kid to get the money from them. And they really fight over money there. GOSH.

Oh yah .. scary thing I tell you. My hubby is in Armor, so he handles tanks. In india training, they shoot and leave the used empty shells of the ammo behind. Kids as young as these RUN INTO THE SHOOTING AREA ... to COLLECT these metal shells. For what?! To sell as metal!!! My gosh ... I couldn't believe my ears when hubby was telling me. And worse!!! They sometimes run into the shooting area in the MIDST OF SHOOTING!!!!! A young teenage boy died while trying to collecting one of the shells, hubby told me. So sad. So just imagine how desperately poor these people are to risk their lives like this to survive. It is NOTHING like those BOLLYWOOD movies ... I dare say bollywood movies make India seem MUCH RICHER than it really is. Sigh.

another procrastination doodle

Sigh ... after only TWO paragraphs of my ISP, I've gotten restless and picked up my stylus pen again. Here's what I ended up with. Don't worry ... it's got nothing to do with what I'm feeling now.

Anyway ... HUBBY'S COMING HOME! I'll be seeing him again in 6 hours. Wheeeeee!

Pamper time!

FRENCHIE MANICURE!!!!!!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I tell you ... this is the FIRST time I've ever went to get a manicure done. I usually do it on my own but recently have been slacking. So today I decided to pamper myself. This french manicure is only $11.90! Dirt cheap!!! I got the Classic french manicure service for $16.90. It's the french manicure PLUS they help to cut and clean up your cuticles and a hand massage. It's really really nice!!! Bought a little ivory board and a bottle of "quick dry" for a little home pampering. I LOVE THE WHITE TIPS!!! I like the way she has done it sooooo much that I think I'll be treating myself to one every 1-2 months heheh. Next time I'll do a pedicure too. Oh ... I know you girls must be wanting to know where this is. Hehehe ... it's a shop called Fingertip on the 2nd level of Bugis Village. There are more and more shops there filled with stuff for the young and trendy. Too bad I'm not young anymore ... I'm getting OLD! But I can still can go for manicures hee hee.
