Week 3 of May ... I cannot think of other titles.

Double O last week (not last night).

My friends decided to buy a waterfall. But of course the flames not like that lah.

HX finished her exams on Monday. So me Jas, Cyn and HX headed down to east coast park, Beach Cabana for a drink ... er ... should I say ... a mini barrel of beer. Keke.

Cyn kept raving about her sambal chicken chop. She loves it ... the sauce just taste like satay sauce leh. But still very nice.

We took ages to finish that mini barrel, largely due to my lack of participation cause I drove.

Nowadays police catch drunk drivers VERY strictly ... so I dare not risk it.

Okay now Wednesday.

Dinner at Xin Wang first ... at Cineleisure.

ON TO DOUBLE O!!!

Haha we were taking advantage of the free entry and free flow there before heading to our next stop ...

... ZOUK! But no photos. Haha.

Saturday was a busy day. Morning work loh. Never ending leh the things to do.

Then afternoon headed to Pit Stop ... really nice place to relax and play games. They have a lot of board games and card games there.

Ya lah I kinda tried to ... cactify the poor little mushroom ball. But not enough toothpicks.

Wah liew this game is cute loh!! But I kept ending up with the LOUSY cards. PS won this game the fastest

This game is loud!!!! UGLY UGLY UGLY DOLL!!!! Yan was good and Ade picked up very fast.

This game was not as good. So we kinda stopped quite quickly.

Then THIS came along!!!

This is something like charades and had this cute machine that timed us for the words we had to act out.

The most hilarious ones were mostly the animals. Yan did a fantastic FLAMINGO! HX was a fantastic guesser. Her vocab is good sia.

I guess I'm a lousy actor ... HX couldn't guess my pompoms when I was swinging around like a cheerleader hahaha.

This game is another adorable one. Quick enough card game but I was concerned more about the piggies!!!

Another nail art fun. Leopard print ... fun!!!

I'm working on this one now .... still figuring what sort of feel I want the overall picture to look. I don't want another plain clothes picture. I want something more romantic ... hrmm ... maybe something out of the fantasy world.

Of Carparks and Ah Bengs

I have this problem of finding where I parked my car. Especially if it's a big car park.
Usually it's just a problem of me remembering a row away from where I parked.

But once at the National Library carpark, while carrying 4 thick heavy books, I searched for my car. I couldn't remember whether it was B2 or B3, worse there were two sides to the car park and the escalator was located at the far end corner of the level.

In the end I found my car on B3 but I felt stupid cause I thought I did search there. Sigh.

So from now, everytime I park my car, EVEN if I park at the open air carpark opposite my office, I'll take a picture of my car location so in case I forget. Sigh.

Last Saturday went to the Drama Centre at the National Library. The place looks exactly like the drama theatre at the Esplanade.

Sebastian Tan is really darn funny with a flair. From his Chinese Opera rendition of the Phantom of the Opera to nostalgic reminders of what our mothers made us wear when we were kids. (Yes Sebastian came out with his underwear on the outside. HAHA joking)

Only deal with this show, you have to be a chinese with basic knowledge of the dialects in order to fully enjoy and connect with this show. A poor indian boyfriend of this chinese girl must have been dragged there by her and she had to explain everything to him.

Talking about OLD memories, do you all still remember those illegal vcd vendors who mysteriously pop out of nowhere at MRTs or corners. I found one, selling VCDs on the overhead bridge connecting Harbourfront Centre and the Sia Im Market.

Hee hee the white part is my actual nail. The only thing I did is put on the green french tips and the small green rhinestone.

I love the salmon pepper rice from Pepper Lunch, with LOTS of honey brown sauce. My friends say that I am practically drinking the honey brown sauce.

Beautiful Batam

Monday can be considered I worked as PR.

It was another Strike Steel date for another of my company's projects.

After the small ceremony, the boss of our shipyard brought us to Belarang to eat seafood.

Never again will I trust drivers. Please loh! ASK BEFORE MOVING OFF TO YOUR DESTINATION!!

Worse it was like blind leading the blind. Our driver was following the other car in front and then lead lead lead ... eh ... looks like we pass our destination ... move on and on and on ... then suddenly realize we are reach the border to another province. Blardy hell!!!!

It was a good 20 mins drive BACK to the destination loh!

But it was worth it.

The scenary was breath-taking.

And see my colleagues, bosses and clients become gluttons over the food. Fantastically fresh as great to eat AFTER you get over all the flies flying around.

Look at this ... I only just sat down and my first hand and got this. Full tai without having to do anything. I also won that round.

But luckily I did. I didn't do so well after that ... still lost $10.
Ling I owe you $10. Va I owe you $2.40.

Me and hubby took out all our containers of many many coins and started dividing them. Time to go to the bank soon.
