VW Pink Cuteness

Saw this super duper cute car at the basement carpark of Paragon today. I couldn't resist not taking a photo of this cutie.

If the owner was around I would tell him/her that I LURVE his/her car.

And after that ask what is the car's name? A car as cute as that will definitely have a super cute name too!

'Nuff said.

Frenchie

Loving my new nails now. Initially I found the pink too girly for me, but after Celine (the owner of Fingertip) put on the stickers and the frenchie whites for me, it looked so sweet!

Fingertip - Bugis village 1st level, beside the staircase. My french manicure is only $11+ ... girls go do it there!

Damn cute mahjong set!! SOOO TEMPTED to buy! Price is okay. They even have the table box to go with it!!!! Only problem, is that must be played on the floor, trying to set the cards. I think to see the cards that you're holding must use those scrabble word holder thingy.

Hrmm ... I don't think will be as shiok to play as the original sized ones. Hehe.

Bought these cute little doggie magnets though. They have two sides of doggie pictures. Usages double up as magnetic note holders and bookmarks. I just bought it cuz of the cute doggies. Hee hee.

BTW ... THIS GUY IS A MUCH WATCH!!! I was laughing like a hyena all the way!!!!
DAMN funny standup comedy

It's comedians like these that make me feel all warm and fluffy. Hee hee.

new earrings ... again

Bought these earrings around my area where I work. Bugis Village there. Those mickey earrings are SOO suitable for my friend Yan. Hehehe. And I'm loving the huge thin loops, just as long as you girls don't use them as handles on the mrt. Keke.

hrmmm ...

I really got nothing much to say about this cause I do not know what is happening at all! There were 2 cameras which I knew were there to take photos of them. But then so many other people were video recording and photographing them ... all with their handy handphones. I'm one lah.
Some sort of gimmick I think. But then again I wish they didn't stayed in there for so long. Before I went for dinner they were already there all wet, when I was done, they were still there flip and flopping away.
The rings cost me about $10++ each. Worth it but I know I can find cheaper, I just need to fly to another country to get them cheaper I guess haha.
Ooh I'm sure you all when walking around shopping centres have seen those Thank You cards. But seriously, do I really have the time to write this? I know good service sometimes starts with the customer. But really, I didn't bother. Morever at that particular Sakae Sushi restaurant that I went to, we had to cancel our Kakiage ... THREE TIMES on three different occassions.
Just imagine that we ate finish two plates of salmon sushi, one plate of gyoza, one chawamushi, one big bowl of tempura udon, one plate of ika tempura, one small bowl of cha soba ... we finish ALL THAT ... and the Kakiage has not arrived. WHAT GIVES?!?! I'm never ordering that again at that outlet.
Oh if you guys are wondering how I'm doing at my little part time job. I just got my pay for my first week. $98. Not much but still better than nothing right? Now that money is just gonna help cushion my expenditure from last week. La la la la.

JOHARI - A Johari window is a metaphorical tool intended to help people better understand their interpersonal communication and relationships. It is used primarily in self-help groups and corporate settings as a heuristic device to encourage people to open up to another in self-disclosure. The concept was invented by Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingram, who combined their first names to create the name of the tool and has led to the spinoff Nohari window.

NOHARI - A Nohari window is the inversion of the Johari window, and is a collection of negative personality traits instead of positive. This tool allows others to see which bad qualities that others perceive in them, and which ones are merely their imagination. The Nohari window is a tool for self-improvement.

Fill in these for me please! Thank you!

Pre V Day

Yesterday I went to my parents' house for dinner and blackjack. Hee hee hee ... can say I lost $170 at blackjack but I "gained" $900+ haha. My mom's necklace ... she wanted to wear this ON DAILY CASUAL BASIS! How the fuck do you wear that for CASUAL DAILY WEAR!!!!??? Then know what she did. She gave to me. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Nice necklace to wear for hubby's nice nice dinners liao!

Ooh and today we went dinner at ... boring Sakae Sushi. Couldn't think of anywhere else. Then I dragged him to buy diamonds!! Hahaha ... all the jewellery stores were out in FULL FORCE!!! Lee Hwa, Soo Kee, Meyson, Goldheart, all of them got stores and ALSO set up those make shift stores in the centre aisle of Bugis Junction. ALL OF THEM WERE CROWDED!!!

A lot of the heart shaped diamond pendants I liked were SOLD OUT! Wah liew! Luckily I found one that I still liked a lot and very pretty too. $238 after discounts. Originally $528 .. haha. Poor hubby.

OOh and good news! Hubby is not doing duty tomorrow night. Dunno how he got rid of it but yay! So I won't be alone on V-Day. But guess how we're spending it ... we're gonna try to sleep early hahaha. After my work, we'll be going home straight.

Talking about my work ... today's first day was simple, slow and sad to say boring. I seriously cannot stay in this for long! I think I read finish like a stack of newspapers and also about 2 chapters of my book. Luckily the library is nearby. Ho ho ho.

Need to desperately get my resume done up and starting emailing it to companies and applications. Need to start planning for my little online shop which I've been procrastinating since LAST YEAR MID YEAR.

Got this cute dog pouch from Seiyu. Another girl bought the last piece of the design I wanted .. *pouts*. Nevermind .. this one can double up as a make up bag too.

HX BDay!

We purposely put until 23 candles for dear Huixin to blow out! HAhahaha ... and SHE DID! IN ONE BREATH! WOOHOO!

PS's tee ... and ahem ... chest. Hahahaa.

Was feeling bored in my car ... keke.

Zhu Zhu is looking like a puppy again! Now that his fur is short again, he looks to be the same size as Bibi. Hahaha. Small little boy.

Tomorrow I'll be starting my new job. Part time working at Bugis Village helping a friend tend to his shop. Selling girls' clothes. Hours are 2-7pm.

Valentines' Day will be a lonely one for me. Hubby went and got himself on DUTY for that day. So he won't be coming home. Sigh. Will be working at my friend's shop til 10pm like that. So sad.

Will be celebrating it tomorrow night instead ... I hope. At least I'm gonna drag him into a jewellery store and make him buy me a new ring or pendant hahaha.

kitty + geisha

Hee hee yeah I'm crazy over these kitties!

The words for the different colours.
Green Kitty (Health)
Brings good health. Eases the mind and body with its healing powers ... (I cannot make out the rest)

Yellow Kitty (Wealth)
(so sorry I cannot see this at all. Stupid friend moved me cam when I was taking this pic. I need to go back and redo that pic .. sigh.)

Orange Kitty (Happiness)
Lift up the mood of the people around you. Brings good luck in greeting the right people especially when travelling.

Red Kitty (Luck)
This is a good luck charm for your prosperity and happiness.

Pink Kitty (Love)
Brings success in finding the right partner and your love life.

Purple Kitty (Power)
Sparks up the creativy and hidden spiritual power within you.

Blue Kitty (Soul)
Cleanses your mind and soul. Purification ... (cannot see)

It's $26.95! Woohoo I won a bet against someone who thought it was $29.65. I mean come on!!! SEE THE PATTERN! A lot of shops nowadays always put .95 at the back of the price tag mah! Where got .65 one!!!!???

NVM ... wooo ... I win a Sakae Sushi treat ... kekekeke.

I got super crazy again seeing these kitties. Beng Eric thought they were less than $10. Wah liew ... no loh! It's the same maker as that stupid plant with two leaves going up and down and that already costs $19.95. What makes you think this will be cheaper?????

Watched Memoirs of a Geisha yesterday. Yes I do agree with some that in some ways it's not that fantastic of a show. A little long winded.

But I felt it was still a beautiful show. It reminded me of the beauty of the movie "Hero" where everything was colour coordinated and so art like.

The geisha lifestyle was portrayed so artfully with the mix of what is shown and what goes on in their lives that I find it so fascinating and it has further piqued my want to go to Japan to experience its rich traditional culture.

GO ROD!

Radio's 70th Anniversary

So what they do?

They organise a Radio 70-Hour Gag.

DJs from 7 radio stations will compete in the 70-Hour Gag challenge by maintaining their silence and communicate with listeners only through written notes, sms and moblogging, all while being housed inside a Gag Room specially created for them.

The DJ who clocks the longest duration of staying silent will win the grand prize of $70,000 for the station’s adopted charity.

I don't mind being one of them loh!!! They got everything and more than my house has!! Except a toilet and bed lah!

OTO has put in each room an OTO EYE Rejuvenator, an OTO Cyber Lounge Massage Chair, an OTO Electro-Reflexologist and an OTO Trimax.

Other things also have. What I saw were a laptop with wireless broadband, a video phone, lcd tv, hot water flask to boil water, food, etc. All the necessities to get by. I can last a WEEK in there not to mention 70hours!!! It's pure luxury in there!!!

And Rod ... god gotta love that man! He the best! He brought his own bike, made it into a stationary bike. For what? So that he can CYCLE EVERY MORNING while all the other DJs are sleeping. WAH LIEW!!! You have gotta SALUTE him for that.

SUPPORT ROD!!! GO GO GO!!!

Car Drools

Clickie this linky!
It was supposed to be a car meet. But the person ended up taking pictures of doggies instead. But don't fret ... PLENTY OF DROOLICIOUS CAR PICS!

Some of my faves.

Look at all of those damn RED HOT FERRARIS! From old to new.

Lamborghini Gallardo - fucking sweet and in a blue that is just to die for!

TVR Sagaris - Just check out the grooves on that hood! But I would have loved it better in black or electric blue or even red.

TVR Sagaris - but DAMN .. that's one SWEET ass on a car! Check out those double exhaust pipes. Facing outwards to blow smoke into people's faces no doubt! HAR HAR!

Looking at all these cars has gotten me dreaming about the car I wanna have. If I could have any car I want in Singapore ... I'd want ... :

1st choice - That Lamborghini Gallardo above!!!!! In that SAME COLOUR!!! GOD I MUST HAVE IT!!! I think I'll try looking for the model of that car. If I can't drive it at least I can enjoy the view.

2nd choice - Peogeot 206CC

The one that I've been drooling after in Singapore most of the time. I'm sure you all have seen it once or twice AT LEAST in Singapore. Must have this ... in GREEN or BLUE. No other colour for me. This is another one which I must buy the toy model of. Sigh.

3rd Choice - BMW Z3

I dunno why I prefer the Z3 over the Z4, the look has almost NO difference. But I find the head of the Z4 to look more ... "philliac". Or maybe it's just me.

Mazda RX8

I would definitely want my RX8 to be in this colour!!! Gosh, yellow is so bright, so eye catching.

Mazda 6

Why the Mazda 6? Well I'm driving the Mazda 3 right now. Besides the space in the car of course, I love the feel of the M6. I've had the honour to sit in a savvy brand new M6 that my friend just bought a few years back, and I love how the car purred. Later he changed something, the spark plugs (if I got the term correct), and got the car sounding and picking up even better. Now he's telling me the car is still driving fine. Not much noise either.

Hyundai Getz

Hee hee yah ... I have a thing for cars with no butts. I'll most prob end up with a car like this one but I don't mind. Been lusting after it since I first saw it on the road. Before this I was lusting after the Volkswagen Golf and the Mazda 2's hatchback. But they don't have the price nor the sporty look that this little Getz baby has. And I'll get it in either blue, red, yellow or black, order of preference.

Sigh but I know I cannot afford any of them now. Searchin for a sugar daddy! Heheh ... joking joking lah!

CNY luck

Long time never posted my two darlings' pictures. Sigh. They are growing so fast. Bibi is now 8 months old. Big girl already. Same size as my Zhu Zhu. Zhu is now 1 year 4 months old. But he's still the crybaby of the family. Crying everytime we leave him at home. Bibi is just a noisy girl and barks til she's tired.

Brought them all over with us over Chinese New Year. I think they are not used to the big crowds and stuck to me and hubby throughout. By last Saturday the last house we visited, they were dead beat and sleeping against the warmth of my aunt's fridge.

I just learnt how to play "si sek" on saturday. Forced to cuz hubby couldn't find enough kakis to play with. Initially had most problems just HOLDING the darn cards. Small thin and 15 of them to hold. The joint between my thumb and first finger was cramping up. Soon got the hang of it, feel it's kinda like mahjong but a simpler and faster version of it. Hee hee. Simple game, simple joy.

That cat is bought BRAND NEW just yesterday from Action City, Plaza Singapura branch. Got 7 different colours, each with a different type of sign.

Red - Luck
Orange - Happiness
Yellow - Wealth
Green - Health
Blue - Soul (something about giving the owner peace)
Pink - Love
Purple - Power (increase creativity and something else)

Imagine the display case got easily a hundred of these hypnotic kitties. Tilting their heads left and right with their right paw going up and down in that IRRESISTABLE WAY!!!!!! I tak boleh tahan (cannot help myself) and bought one right away.

Had problems with the choice of colours, but ended up with the traditional RED. Luck in EVERYTHING is best. Hee hee.

The pudding doesn't taste good actually but I wanted the doggie box badly. Hee hee.

The sheep really looked that scary loh. I cannot imagine hugging that to sleep at night.

Ooh I simply LOVE the clovers pins that I bought. They are sooo pretty and a great accessory to any shirt, handbag, skirt or even a belt or a hp pouch. Hee hee. Will be wearing it for the month of March I guess. St Pat's Day is on 17th March.

That garter was kinda of an impulse buy. Saw it and thought it will be a great addition to the "gift" that the girls bought for me from my hen night. Hee hee. (thanks again girls my hubby loved it)
