puppies welcome

I still haven't gone to the polyclinic to make the dental appointment.

I'm too damn scared.

So I'm going to wait for my hubby to come back next Wednesday before going to make that appointment.

Meanwhile my tooth is not hurting that much anymore ... thus my procrastination for the surgery.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The company event on Tuesday was a big success ... I ended up sleeping most of the trip back from Batam ... I just hope I didn't drool.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

My hubby took my laptop ... so I'm unable to resize any of my pics to upload here. Sigh ... yeah this stupid desktop doesn't have Adobe Photoshop and my installation disk doesn't work ... it's too scratched up. T_T

So you all gotta settle for .... VIDEOS! hahah.

injuries galore

3 teeth to be operated on by end of next week (but I haven't book appointment yet).

What the heck is GA? General Anesthetic? As long as it knocks me out during the surgery so that I do not know what is going on during the surgery ... it is FINE by me! Very FINE!

Last night went to Double O with some of the bitches to celebrate Cyn's birthday. Yay she's 23!

Wishing you get prettier every year.

Yesterday someone say everyone must die with her. Hahah she didn't even get tipsy!!! The rest of us stayed safe with our few jugs of lychee martini, vodka red bull and whisky dry jugs. No lambos nor waterfalls .... PHEW!!!!

That silly ducky, wanted to just eat the lychee only. We had a good time making her try the different alcohols we ordered. Her face just seemed to get more and more sour with every sip of alcohol.

Darn I cannot post my pictures ... either too ugly or too blur. Sigh.

But last night a bit unlucky lah.

I kinda slipped from my chair, knocked my chin against the table and broke a glass.

Then STUPID me helped to kick the glass away to a safer corner under the table ... I WAS WEAR STRAPPY HEELS!!!! Now got one cut on my big toe. It didn't hurt that much, but I was practically dripping blood everywhere. Tissue was coloured with sooo much red. I had to walk to the nearest toilet outside to wash my blood soaked ... HEEL!!! ... my feet was like as if I stepped into RED PAINT! GAH!!! So much blood. Dunno why also ... not that pain.

Okay loh ... got plaster liao, paste liao, then heck care liao. I wanted to dance the night away. Hee hee.

Oh and my friend was right when he said that alcohol will help ease the pain of my teeth for the meanwhile. Hee hee I didn't think about it the whole night ... until this morning when I woke up with a headache.

My hubby said that I was holding my head like as if I was having headache ... WHEN I WA SLEEPING!! HAHAh I must have looked damn funny. And dunno which bastard bug bit me while I slumbered ... a HUGE itchy bump is not on my tummy. Sheesh.

Okay ... injuries thus far that haven't healed or been solved :
- 2 big holes on the left upper row back teeth
- 1 big decaying wisdom tooth lower back left side
- bitten tip of my tongue
- a cut on my toe
- a blue black mark on my left wrist (dunno when the hell I got that)
- a patch of scraped skin on my right leg (touch water pain leh)

Now I also kenna SORE THROAT and COUGH. My flu package is arriving soon. T_T

dental surgery to be

Shit! I didn't go to the dentist this morning. I guess the painkillers kicked in in the end.

But it just got worse in the evening, painkillers didn't help.

Went to the dental clinic at 5:30pm near my house.

Dentist took one look and told me that I needed surgery. *gulp*

3 rotten teeth (one of which is a wisdom tooth). Be prepared to pay $1000 and above. Morever have to go to polyclinic tomorrow morning at 6am to quickly get an appointment first. Also so that I can get the government subsidised rate (which is still $1k plus).

Then polyclinic will recommend me to a hospital. Appointment will be made like within the same day or 1-2 days later.

He told me my teeth rot quite bad. Heng it's the WAY AT THE BACK teeth. Smile cannot see.

Now worry how painful it'll be. The doctor better give me a lot of anesthetic and knock me out throughout my surgery. Cries.

*beep*-ing aching teeth

I'm *beep*-ing awake at *beep*-ing 2 o'clock in the *beep*-ing morning on a *beep*-ing work day which I most probably will be missing (not to mention all the *beep*-ing work that's gonna pile up while I go find a *beep*-ing dentist to pull out the *beep*-ing teeth that is making me feel *beep*-ing pain right now.)

okay I had to beep all that out.

I already took TWO painkiller, the panadol extra kind. It's been an hour ... teeth still pain. And the side of my mouth is already swollen. I'm gonna look like a hamster with mouth full of food after the dentist pulls out my teeth.

But gosh ... please make it soon! I don't wanna endure anymore of this pain. I rather withstand needles for a while than this sort of pain for another month.

(yes stubborn me who is deathly scared of dentists has been avoiding this situation for the past month)

Gonna become murderous soon.

I want a COW!

I've been wanting one of these since the first batch came out a few years ago!!! Why must they tempt me with their adorably cute funky colours!!!

The closest thing I have to these cows is a blue cow decal which my friend gave me. If I had know earlier that Shell was giving them away when you pump petrol with them, I would have pumped $10 everyday just to get all the colours!!! But now the promotion over and no one is even selling these online. Sobs! My collegues threw all of theirs away. Cries!

Bought this pair of adorable snacks at my office building's little snack fair on 1st level. I didn't know they had the girly version of caramel corn!!! Hee hee now they are both un-opened in my fridge. Don't need to worry about them getting cold, I think they'll be able to keep each other warm.
[okay lame joke lah. bleah]

I spied upon these two glasses in the shop. They were so queer but soooo fun. Hee hee. Lookie at my hubby and me. Cute neh? I was kinda opening my eyes really wide to create the ROUNDNESS effect. But the only roundness I see in the photo is my face. Gah ... need to renew gym membership FAST!!!

Just recently got the time to take a quick pic of the new carpark system in Bugis Junction. I tell you. ALL carparks should have this system. It's so much easier to look for empty lots.

There are lights above every lot signalling whether the lot is available or not. Green it is empty, Red if it's taken.

It certainly made it totally a lot easier when there was like only 1 lot available indicated by a separate sign. I just needed to look out for a green light.

I saw it, zoomed over to it before the other drivers saw it, and zipped into the empty space. Wheee!!! Got a lot in 5 mins flat instead of the old way.

Old way : Slowly drive around prowling around for empty lots, and people heading back to their cars. When the car park is packed, I usually stalk those people who are heading back to their cars. And curse dammit too when they take a cut through a bunch of cars to go to the next lane where I cannot follow. Damn. Either that or sit in one spot waiting for a car to leave the lots that you're near at. This takes up to half an hour or more on peak hours.

New way : Follow the signs saying there's like 1 available lot then got left arrow to show where it is. Then quickly zoom in that direction and look for a green light. Green light spotted, enter empty lot. Voila!!! 5 mins!!! Even if there's no lot, would they allow you into a full car park in the first place? Heehee.

Simply love the new system.

Red and White Days

Hee hee I was feeling patriotic today and wore red and white to work on Tuesday.

But that doesn't mean lesser work to do though. Darn.

Woohoo me and my friends all wore red tops yesterday at Zouk. Like about 10 of us all wore red! Hehehe ... hope I can get the photos from them soon.

Oei stop staring at my big tummy lah. I know fatter liao lah!

Need to renew my gym membership and go back to the gym again soon. Sigh.

I even painted my nails ... red and white! Wheee!!!

Celebrate with our nation

Home is where the heart is. That's what I always feel whenever I travel overseas.

No matter where I am or how great another country might be, I'd still be thinking about our tiny sunny little country.

This is why I couldn't bring myself to seek an overseas eduation. Really!

This 9th of August is my nation's birthday. Hopefully I could get some great fireworks shots this Saturday. My flat actually overlooks the stadium and has the BEST UNBLOCKED VIEW of the fireworks ... right at my doorstep.

p.s. I did this picture last year. Thought I just wanted to post it again haha.
