Eventful weekend

You can say it was a blast! We were greeted upon opening the door by a spacious walkway past the toilet and into the bedroom. The toilet's design is fantastic!!! I simply am missing the bath tub right now!!!

BENG BENG!!! I found the little mini juice packet!! Adorable!!! These are sweets folks.

Sitex is a nightmare. But seriously I found it a waste of my time ... unless you wanna count in the moment that I had upon feeling a beautiful sleek black iPod Nano between my trambling fingers. OH GOSH ... I felt an ACTUAL ORGASM from just holding it!!! Hahahaha!

But sadly Sitex didn't boast anything new. Everything is all seen-that-got-that, and the price wise is not really that much cheaper. Might as well go Sim Lim. (Which we did and bought a new desktop PC for Seng Wee's sisters.)

Oh and got news about the future of my block. It's announced that it's now under the SERS scheme (Selective En Bloc Redevelopment Scheme). This is where they wanna do "something" to our present block and thus move us out to newer blocks nearby. Got two sites to choose from. One near Kallang MRT and the other near Boon Keng MRT. But quite disappointed to hear that most of the units are already taken up in the site near Kallang MRT which we want! We're even willing to take up a 5 room flat (to accomadate future plans ... hehe! ;))

Will be going down to Sims Drive to have a look at the plans for the sites, and to ask questions too. Hubs and I got loads of questions.

- when to move in?
- can we choose for our 4 families to stay on the same level?
- prices!!!!???
- can we choose??
- what's the balloting system mentioned in the scheme?
- what if we don't get the units that we want?
- etc .... etc ... etc ...

Some other little things that happened :
- air con spoiled at dblO last night
- dogs chewed up my favourite pair of flats
- bought new pair of flats (but not ideal look)
- Bibi peed on the bed ... again
- going for a little interview later
- am very dehydrated now
- things going well on "blink" side (more info when it's finalised)
- kenna warning letter about late return of library books
- two library books chewed up by my dogs ... dies

Cuteness entry

But first let me show you some interesting pics I got from Zouk.
Okay ... actually I had more ... one of the fountain at that big toilet which looks like some deformed alien egg pod and at the end it would seem that at any time an alien would pop out of there to eat you. Just go to that new toilet at Zouk and you'll know it when you see it. Another pic is actually of that new look for the side platform that got cut right down the middle by a huge ass speaker. Well ... the two round walls surrounding it ... did look like a pair of butt cheeks. Stand under the big TV screen, near the stairs, and then look at that direction. You'd see a side view of a butt with some part of the legs looking like she's bent down waiting to get it doggie style! Hahahah.

This week Wednesday at Zouk was ... fun lah. Even though Yan, Va, Ade and Yazi left early (like 1+am), I stayed with PS, it still turned out quite well. Considering that I did consume a bit of alcohol that night (1 lambo, 1 barcadi breezer, 1 apple shooter, 1/4 stella), cuz I didn't drive ... have to drink lah.

Poor Yazi lost her handphone on the cab. Stupid dishonest driver didn't return loh!!! Dammit ... she was unlucky. Well, at least we know what to get her for her birthday now. Kekekeke~!

I WANT THIS WHOLE BABY CARE BEAR SET!!!! Don't tell me they are ugly! They are the cutest versions of the carebears that is released so far. Big heads small bodies ... yes I'm hooked!!!! There are not only 4 ... I think there are 6 in the series. I WANT ALL SIX!!! $8.90 each ... sigh ... who wants to buy for me??? Anyone??? Maybe I'll buy one a week ... slowly ... then hubby will not know.

Yes ... cute shit ... hahaha. My friend was like "Why you wanna stick shit on your handphone???" Hahah ... my hp is gonna die soon. Why? When I close my handphone (it's clamshell), the phone call or whatever I was doing before does't end. The hinge is loose. And my camera function sometimes doesn't allow me to preview my pictures when I'm taking photos.

Going to go Sitex later to see if there's any good handphone offers.

photos from yesterday

This is taken from the carpark beside the old Capitol cinema at City Hall. It was sooo ... freaky that the birds are actually lined up like that. Even though there is clearly some space in between for another bird easily, they never attempted to fly in between. Some flew around looking for space but only took the designated spacings ... like there's some sort of parking there on those ledges.

PIGEON PARK!!! Hahahaha!

Hee hee ... *points to the words* Notice something ... naughty? Hee hee.

*GUSHES WITH GLEE!!!!*
I simply LURVE this picture!!!

Falling Snow

IT'S SNOWING IN HERE!

Hee hee ... I waited all year to put up this falling snow thing. But I couldn't wait for December. I didn't make it snow the whole page ... unlike my Xanga page.

********************************************************************

Went to Devils on Wednesday night. Cannot write this in my xanga entry cuz my hubby reads that one ... haiz.

Met a really cute guy there ... too bad he's 19!! So bloody young!!! Very nice pick up considering I was at one point really sian. Oh he's a waiter there. Heehee. He KNOWS I'm married and 24 ... don't worry. *washes all sinful thoughts from your minds*

Drove that night = Cannot drink at all = SIAN!!!

Actually I knew him already from the week before but I guess he saw that I was really sian, so he threw his handphone onto my lap and told me to entertain myself with the games inside. Instead I entertained myself with the funny photos he took of himself and his friends. Soon after he came back around and asked if I've put in my number yet. I gave him a blur look and proceeded to just key in my number. I got his in exchange too.

This sort of pick up is really different from the usual straightforward ones like "You wanna dance?", "You wanna drink?". These two at least were requests!!! Some think that it's okay for them to dance and start sliding into your group of friends to try to seperate you from the group. First of all it's RUDE, and it's worse when the girl doesn't wanna dance and moves away but the guy just ends up dancing naughty BEHIND HER!! It's gross you know!!!

Anyway back to my little devil boy. Met him on Thursday night to go ... SENTOSA!!!
Hahaha wah I really forgotten how cool it was at night at the beach. Bought some snacks and juices there to munch on while we chatted the hours away. No no no ... we didn't do anything wrong ... *BLEACHES YOUR MINDS*. Just two friends talking.

What really impressed me is his way of thinking. He's entering the army soon, and he actually LOOKS FORWARD to it ... as a challenge in his life!! Wow loh! Cause most guys actually just whine and whine non-stop and refuse to see the good side of army life. Even the old men YEARS after they finish their NS are still whining about it!

Is army life really that bad?? I feel that it actually teaches a man a lot of things. Maturity, when to and when not to say certain things, how to handle stress, time management, how to better fend for themselves, etc. If not ... at least they end up with better bodies than before.

Hubby has been a regular in the army for a good 5-6 years now ... and I can really see how it has improved his way of thinking! Responsibility, respect for bosses, peers and subordinates, his want for a better future not only for himself but also for me and a future family. Hee hee. I love him sia. He really takes care of me. But damn ... he keeps on seeing his collegues children and then gives me that look, that question in his eyes, "When it'll be our turn dear? When can we have one of our own?" ... I always give him the same response of rolling my eyes, "Soon dear ... after I find a job." Bit by bit.

For the moment I ALWAYS make sure there's protection on the side.

Will be heading back to Devils again this coming Wednesday I think. But then may be heading down to Mambo first ... *cheers* ... must ask Yan to go. HER BIRTHDAY!!!

New Christmas Banner 2005

Took about ... 3 hours to do this one.

*points upwards* New banner for Christmas!!!

Yes you all must be thinking ... at last some girl who DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ME! HAhaha. I almost added my red and yellow streaks into the white hair ... but it clashed very badly.

CODE SUCKS

CRIES ... my new blog skin links don't work at all ... I gave up trying to rewrite the stupid code again and again. Now it's back to the old skin. THat's the last time I'm gonna try doing something new like that. ... back to doing things the old way. Cries.

a Very sad me here right now ... I'll curl up into a ball and just think how stupid I am to have thought it would have worked.

Here's the link to what it MIGHT have looked like ...
linky to the site that gave me coding hell.
If anyone could help me ... I love him/her forever!

New Blog Skin

Yes ... this is the right page. I've revamped my whole blog for blogspot. But I'm not doing the same for my xanga site. (Xanga will have a new bg and banner though. Soon.)

Why? The amount of crap shit that I had to go through with the html is not worth the trouble!!! Even up to NOW it's still giving me problems. Is it because I'm using IE???

All designs are drawn solely by me!!! Almost died man. But the layout was taken from http://www.photokicho.tk. The skin is called Ghostly Lullaby ...

This layout of course is 10 times nicer than the one I did myself. But I was too darn lazy for inspirations. This was all the inspirations that I was able to squeeze out of my tiny brain.

CODING IS CRAP!!!! I dunno why the stupid links are not working!!! Someone help me!!!

Hard Choices

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Should I get the Tag Heuer pink watch endorsed by that tennis player???

Or should I get the latest iPod????

WAh liew so hard to decide!!! Can I get both mommy?? Keke.

Mom is intending to let me choose a nice watch as a gift for my wedding. But but ... I'm also deeply infactuated by the new iPod. The watch is at least $1000+ while the iPod sits at most at $700+ I think.

- 30GB ($548) or 60GB($728)
- specs = 10.4 x 6.1 x 1.1/1.4cm
- bright 2.5-inch, 320 x 240 pixel TFT display
- holds up to 25,000 photos
- holds up to 150 hours of video
- plays video or photo slideshows on TV via the optional dock
... and these are only the features that I LOVE about it ... there are still others!!! It's like a freaking MICRO-MINI harddrive!!!

Need I say more about this watch!

But ya ... I'm still a little iffy about this watch ... cuz the black is too plain, white gets dirty and pink ... hard to match.

Mom asked whether I would consider Rolex ... I was like isn't that an uncle brand?? Morever I do prefer Tag Heuer. Been lusting for one ever since my dad got one for himself a couple of years back. (which btw got stolen by god knows who) Sigh.

See my choices ... how to choose!!! I'll inform my mom of my dilemma tomorrow ... and hopefully she'll solve my problems by ... BUYING BOTH FOR ME!! Muahahahaha!

Off Note :

Been really sick ... cough, flu, sore throat. But I still went on to eat laksa, carrot cake, macdonalds, KFC, soft drinks etc. Kekeke.

Sentosa today .... bleah!

Sentosa today .... bleah!

I thought should be a very happy day cuz for ONCE it's a weekend that's NOT raining.

We got our towels, bags, shampoo and all the other knick knacks for our trip liao. everything got ... good. Traffic smooth ... good. Reach the beach got shade ... good.

First bad thing :
Bibi that stupid girl ... she started sniffing around too much for her own good. And ... SEVERAL ... okay wait ... make that like at least THIRTY HUGE ANTS found refuge in her MUZZLE fur alone!!! She was crying from the bites and struggling so much that we found it extremely difficult to get them all off. Even when we got into the sea she had 1 or 2 ants still in her fur. T_______T .... now her skin there all red red.

Second bad thing :
Zhu was marking EVERYTHING!!! Gosh he wants everything to be claimed his! The light pole, the dustbin, the trees, poles of the shelter and he ... wah liew ... so embarrassing. He tried to pee on the drinking bucket of the couple who was sitting beside us at the beach! SO PAISEH!!! The couple (foreigners) were very easy about it as they had a cute big dog of their own too. Their dog loves to jump into the water to fetch things! I wish my two furkids were like that but ... sigh.

Third bad thing :
The couple was informed earlier by the lifeguard that there were a little bit of small jellyfishes swimming about due to the incoming tide. Instantly I was put off of going into the sea to swim. But ... but ... sigh. Went in lah ... but only up to my waist at most.

Fourth bad thing :
The little balloon boat that we brought for the dogs to ... er ... sit in. It was damn fucking hard to just pump air into it. Needed one person to pump and the other to hold the stupid nozzle to the hole of the boat. BLEAH! I felt it took forever. And I did the pumping ... so my tummy ... was REALLY compressed together ACCENTUATING ALL OF MY SPARE TIRES for everyone to see. CRIES!

Fifth bad thing :
The waves really started coming in a while later ... and it was without warning. Hubby was even taken by surprised. I was on the shore watching the whole thing. HUGE wave (by singapore standards of course) came in and wham right into hubby. He was shocked ... but not as shocked than when that SAME WAVE tipped the whole boat over with my two babies inside!!!

Zhu and Bi literally FLEW out of the boat and disappeared under the water!!! I think they must have rolled a few times under there before their head resurfaced.

Lucky for Zhu he was near the shore and ran all the way towards me ... looking a little frightened.

Bibi was not so lucky though. Even though she resurfaced, a second wave took her by surprised and covered her again! Hubby said that for a split second there he COULDN'T FIND BIBI!!!

At last ended the day somewhat peacefully. No cock ups bathing the kids but then ... drying them was a little headache. What to do?! No choice loh. Brush brush brush!

Got home. Both of them so tired that they immediately went to their fave sleeping spots and fell asleep. Sigh so angel like in their slumber.

Louis Vuitton!!!!

I'm so fucking jealous right now!!! Mother bought for her a REAL LV wallet. What do I have ... fakes from Bangkok.

Hrmp ... time for me to go to Bangkok for "branded" shopping liao. T_T

I asked mother what she's trying to do by buying her such an expensive gift. She act blur. I told her that it looks like you're buying her obligation and loyalty to my brother. Is that what she wants? She continues to look blur.

Need I really explain these pictures?

Lotsa stuff ... kinda

I'm really beginning to suspect if Bibi is really a dog. Look at the way she sleeps. Haiz.

Ooh that last dog there I'm gonna stick it in my car later. Heheh its head BOBBLES!

LHS : Went to a Baby Shower in Pasir Ris. The baby was super cute. Hee hee. This pic is to depict somewhat of the Singaporean lifestyle. Not mine yet ... but soon ... a few more years.

RHS : I was just waiting for a friend to lock his door when I just happened to snap this pretty cute picture of his flowers. He never saw his flowers that way before. Kekek. Guess I changed his view on that.

Played with that mahjong set on Saturday night. At first it was headache but once you get used to it, it was very very nice looking. Something different loh.

WOOHOO! Last night dinner at Pastamania. Then we went on a little NEOPRINT spree!! Kekek. Loving my bitches! La La la!

What About Them?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The other species - birds, cows, eels, pigs - what all these have in common?

Maybe I should put it in another way ... bird flu, mad cow disease, unagi (eel), er ... pork disease? I can't remember. (I even tried doing an online search for the right word but it kept giving me results on diets. *sweats*)

Okay back to what I wanted to put across.

I'm not here to shoot down more birds nor cows nor eels nor any other animal for that matter. I'm here ... to question.

What are we doing to the earth and its other inhabitats?

We have a disease caused by a certain species, now presently the most active, birds. So what do we humans do? We start to wipe them out. Okay not literally "Let's kill all birds" type of wipe out, but it's still "Let's kill whole chicken/duck/poultry farms" type of wipe out.

We being the superior species decided to preserve our status of being the dominant species, we take out the birds.

Why don't we think ... what if we were in the birds' shoes?

What if WE HUMANS were the INFERIOR species???

What if another species, to preserve the dominance of their own species, decided to get rid of us?????

Hold that thought.

This world is as much as theirs as it is for us. But humans, us ... ME ... abuse this earth that we live on. This earth that we take for granted. We take its natural resources and turned it into chemicals which pollute. We take its animals and hunt, eat them into almost extinction. We take its land and cover it with concrete where nothing green can grow.

We take take take ... but almost never give back to this mother earth which gave all of these to us.

We are unappreciative. Like spoilt brats who just know how to take from their parents and give nothing back.

Now Mother is angry ... and she's getting back at us. (Quoted by hubby.)

Typhoons, volcanic eruptions, floods, diseases, low resources meandering near to nothing. I don't think I am covering them all. We humans are losing in this fight.

We are being balanced out in number by Mother.

And we further kill ourselves with terrorism, wars both national and civil. Self annihilation???

We need to start playing nice with our siblings on this earth now. NOW not LATER ... what is the use of economy when we are not here in the future to enjoy it.

Hrmm ... are our fellow siblings silently laughing at us while Mother punishes us? I wonder.
